Job Description
XP Power is a leading power designer and manufacturer of electronic power conversion products. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coach assembly staff, create an environment of continuous improvement, and meet quality and delivery commitments.
Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience leading assembly operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Business Management preferred.
- Proven on the ground experience utilizing structured problem solving, LEAN, and 6S to transform operations.
- Ability to manage conflict and difficult performance issues.
- Strong knowledge and skilled with computer applications, MRP, ERP, and Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate skill with Excel is essential.
- Knowledge of manufacturing controls required – Capacity planning, inventory control, Bills of Materials, Engineering drawings and Change Orders, Document Control, and Work Instructions.
- Able to coach and lead employees.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a tenacious follow through.
- Is comfortable with reaching beyond role/ scope to drive improvement and growth.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in dynamic environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Ability to lift to 50lbs.
