Job Description
The Substation Construction – Civil group provides management and oversight of all civil contract resources. This position is responsible for providing oversight and coordinating work for contract civil construction crews to ensure that they meet safety, compliance, budget, environmental, quality and schedule expectations.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Completion of Certified Survey Technical Class (CST1)
- 5 years of experience in managing and directing civil sitework construction activities such as clearing, erosion control, grading and drainage work, concrete construction
- Knowledge of electrical substations or transmission lines is highly desirable
- Knowledge or proficiency in the use of CAD drafting, preferably AutoCad
- Interpret engineering drawings and/or survey drawings
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
