Job Description
Zanskar is modernizing geothermal exploration by combining field data, advanced imaging, and data science, aimed at helping developers drill with confidence. This role involves fault imaging and characterizing the faults controlling geothermal fluid flow, bridging survey design to drilling decisions. The position focuses on fault detection, characterization, and uncertainty quantification for decision-making.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Geophysics, Seismology, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in land 2D and 3D active-source design, processing, and depth imaging
- Strong statics and near-surface model building
- Proven anisotropic model building (VTI or TTI strongly preferred)
- Experience overseeing contractors and managing schedules/budgets
