Senior DevOps Engineer

ZayZoon is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing and automating infrastructure provisioning, building CI/CD pipelines, and improving monitoring and observability. The team is fully remote and hires across Canada and the US. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience in AWS or GCP, 3+ years of experience with Python or equivalent high-level language, and knowledge of Bash and SQL. Requirements

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience in AWS or GCP
• 3+ years of experience with Python or equivalent high-level language
• Knowledge of Bash and SQL
• Experience with CloudFormation to provision and maintain infrastructure, or experience in other IaC tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or equivalent
• Experience with CloudWatch and Elastic Container Services (ECS) running on Fargate, with CodePipeline and native deployments
• Experience building efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or an equivalent
• Ability to deep dive into CloudWatch, CloudTrail logging and other logging tooling, such as Athena, to get to the bottom of a problem
• Experience migrating compute from Intel to ARM architecture
