Buyer's Guide

The 10 best job data APIs in 2026, ranked.

We ranked 10 job posting data providers on where their jobs come from, how fresh they are, how much history they keep, what is free, and what 1,000 jobs cost at volume. Hirebase is our product; every fact about the other providers comes from their own pricing and docs pages.

Hirebase is the best all-round pick. For a few narrower needs, another provider fits better, and we say which.

Cheap bulk files by country

Techmap

Comparison

The ranking in one table.

Per-1,000 figures are our arithmetic on each vendor's published entry tier, and they are not like for like: some vendors bill per request or per credit, and a credit does not always equal one job.

Quality By Design

Why Hirebase skips job-board-only jobs.

We deliberately don't index jobs that exist only on job boards. Listings reposted across Indeed, Glassdoor, Adzuna, Monster and the rest are where stale, agency and duplicate jobs pile up. Providers that index boards have to decide when a job that appears in many places has really closed. Here is how three of them describe it in their own docs.

Coresignal: active until every copy expires

Its data dictionary marks a job expired only when all of its related records, across every source, have expired.
Source: docs.coresignal.com/jobs-data/multi-source-jobs-data/dictionary-multi-source-jobs-data

Techmap: duplicates kept, never re-checked

Its FAQ says duplicates are kept and flagged, postings are not re-checked for removal after collection, and a job is assumed active until its validThrough date or 30 days after it was created.
Source: jobdatafeeds.com/faq

TheirStack: Indeed and LinkedIn first

Its sources page lists indeed.com (39.87%) and linkedin.com (19.11%) as its largest sources, and its webhook docs say a null closed_at “means the job is still considered open (or we don’t know yet)”.

The Ranking

Every provider, ranked and explained.

Ranked on sourcing, freshness, coverage, history, price per job at volume and how easy it is to get started. Every competitor fact links back to the vendor's own pages in the sources list below.

#1

HirebaseTop Pick

Direct-from-employer job API

Best for: Products, sales and analytics teams that want deduplicated jobs from employer career pages, refreshed every hour, with published self-serve prices.

Why #1: Jobs live within 1–2 hours and removed every hour, no board-only reposts, history since 2023, a free plan, and $999 for 2 million jobs a month (about $0.50 per 1,000), and below $0.25 per 1,000 on Enterprise at enough volume. Webhooks, MCP and a technologies API ship with it.

Data sources
Company career pages and 80+ ATS platforms first; LinkedIn only for companies with neither, labeled by source. The LinkedIn fallback reads logged-out public LinkedIn job pages only, with no accounts or logins. 300K+ company career pages scanned.
Coverage
8–10M active jobs; About 14M companies indexed, 700–800K of them with an active job; 140+ countries. Enterprise ATSs including Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Paycor, Phenom, isolved, Avature, BrassRing, PageUp, Paradox, UKG and Dayforce. One record per job, with every location in a locations array.
Freshness
New jobs live within 1–2 hours of posting; closed jobs removed from the active index every hour.
History
About 29M expired jobs since 2023, with the same fields as live jobs. Search the archive free, then buy the dataset you need.
Free option
Free plan: 500 jobs and 50 companies a month, no credit card.
Pricing
Starter $99/month for 25,000 jobs; Growth $249 for 250,000; Scale $999 for 2 million. Overage $1.50 per 1,000 on Growth and $1.00 on Scale. Annual billing takes 20% off.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
$3.96 (Starter) → $0.50 (Scale) → < $0.25 (Enterprise)
Delivery
REST API, Python SDK and bulk export (CSV, JSON Lines); Semantic search and resume matching over live jobs; Webhooks for new and closed jobs, MCP server, plus Claude and ChatGPT connectors, Make.com, Clay, n8n and Apify integrations.

#2

TheirStack

Job and technology signals for sales

Best for: Sales and go-to-market teams that prospect by technology stack and want webhooks, MCP and no-code integrations today.

Why #2: The most complete product for sales teams, but its two largest sources are Indeed and LinkedIn, and every repeat fetch is charged again.

Watch out for: Per its credits docs, repeated requests for the same data consume credits each time, and webhook events cost the same as API records.

theirstack.com
Data sources
Job boards and ATS. Its own sources page lists indeed.com with 150M jobs (39.87%) and linkedin.com with 72M (19.11%).
Coverage
256M jobs cumulative; it publishes no count of currently active jobs. 51.6M company–technology pairs across 12.5M companies.
Freshness
Says 73% of new postings are found the same day and 91% by the end of the next day, measured from the date the job board shows.
History
Says 2021; its published monthly series starts in November 2022.
Free option
200 API credits and 50 company credits a month, for accounts that have never paid.
Pricing

≈ Per 1,000 jobs
$32.67 (entry) → $1.10 (5M)
Delivery
REST API; webhooks for new jobs, closed jobs and newly matching companies; MCP server and Claude plugin; Zapier, Make, n8n and Databar; Clay via webhook or HTTP; datasets to S3, GCS, Azure or Snowflake.

#3

Coresignal

Jobs, companies and employees

Best for: Teams buying jobs alongside employee and company records from one vendor.

Why #3: The only one here with employee data, but its data dictionary keeps a job active until every copy of it expires.

Watch out for: Per its data dictionary, a job counts as expired only when all of its related records have expired, so one lingering copy keeps it active.

coresignal.com
Data sources
Job boards, aggregators and company websites; its sample sources include a professional network, Indeed and Glassdoor.
Coverage
Says 52M+ active jobs, 28M of them in the US, and 486M+ in total. For scale, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics counted 7.08M US job openings in August 2026.
Freshness
Says every active job is revisited within 24 hours; the same page also says data is updated every month.
History
Deduplicated multi-source jobs since May 2025; single-source jobs archived since 2020.
Free option
7-day trial with 2,000 credits.
Pricing
Mini $49/month for 2,500 credits, up to Elite $5,000 for 10M; 1 credit per job collected, searches free. Datasets from $1,000/month on a yearly contract.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
$19.60 (entry) → $0.50 (10M)
Delivery
REST API, MCP server, datasets to S3, GCS or Azure. Webhooks cover company and employee changes, not jobs.

#4

Fantastic.jobs

ATS job feed plus LinkedIn feed

Best for: Job boards that poll a feed into their own database and want LinkedIn listings and AI-extracted occupation codes, from $45 a month.

Why #4: The closest like-for-like ATS feed, with a LinkedIn feed and rich AI fields, but no expired history and once-a-day expiry checks.

Watch out for: Every job auto-expires at 6 months, expiry is checked once a day, and the $45 plan has no expired-jobs endpoint.

fantastic.jobs
Data sources
ATS career sites (its docs: over 200,000 companies on 58 ATS; its marketing says 275k+), plus a separate job-board feed with LinkedIn, Wellfound and Y Combinator jobs.
Coverage
3M+ new career-site jobs and 11M+ new job-board jobs a month; its Apify feed describes over 2 million active career-site jobs.
Freshness
Docs: a 1 to 2 hour ingestion delay; expired jobs re-checked once a day; LinkedIn hourly in 7 English-speaking countries.
History
No expired history: the 6-month backfill is active jobs only, and every job auto-expires at 6 months.
Free option
14-day trial with 500 jobs.
Pricing
$45/month for 5,000 jobs (expired-jobs endpoint from the $95 plan); $500 for 250K; $2,800 for 2M.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
$9.00 (entry) → $1.40 (2M)
Delivery
REST API, RapidAPI, Apify actors; bulk delivery on high-volume plans.

#5

PredictLeads

Company signals, including jobs

Best for: Enriching known companies with news events, financing, technologies and hiring, where you look up companies rather than search jobs.

Why #5: Rich company signals beyond jobs, but a 36-hour refresh, a 5-day closure rule and narrow job-search filters.

Watch out for: Job search filters cover O*NET codes, title words, location, seniority and date only, over the last 12 months.

predictleads.com
Data sources
Company career subpages and ATS integrations.
Coverage
About 9.8M active jobs across 3M+ companies; its API counts a job active if not closed, seen in the last 5 days and found within the last year.
Freshness
Refreshed once every 36 hours; a job closes when its page says it is no longer available, or after 5 days unseen.
History
Its pages give 2015, 2016 and 2018 as start dates.
Free option
100 credits a month.
Pricing
From $40/month; job discovery costs 1 credit per record, $0.04 per credit up to 5K and down to $0.002 at the top tier; credits don't roll over. Flat files from about $6K a year per dataset.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
$40.00 (entry) → $2.00 (top tier)
Delivery
REST API, webhooks for followed companies, MCP server, Clay, Make and n8n, flat files.

#6

LinkUp

Employer-sourced labor-demand data

Best for: Hedge funds and economists who need job data back to 2007, mapped to stock tickers and other investor identifiers, with point-in-time archives.

Why #6: The longest employer-sourced history, with investor identifiers, but about 86,000 employers, quote-only pricing and a 24–48 hour refresh.

Watch out for: Records are per location, so a job listed in five cities counts five times in its totals.

linkup.com
Data sources
Employer websites; its RAW product page notes jobs are “(usually)” found through third-party job sites.
Coverage
350M+ records since 2007, one record per job location; about 86,000 employers today.
Freshness
Daily files by 6 AM CT; sites scraped every 24–48 hours (every 24 hours for its top tier).
History
Since 2007; the last ~10 days of counts are restated.
Free option
None; demo on request.
Pricing
Not published; quote only.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
Not published
Delivery
Daily files to Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, BigQuery or Databricks.

#7

Techmap

Country job feeds and archives

Best for: Buyers who want cheap daily bulk files by country, including public employment offices and job-board-only roles, across 250 countries.

Why #7: The cheapest bulk files per posting, across 250 countries, but “active” is assumed from dates rather than checked, and duplicates are included.

Watch out for: Per its docs, a job counts as active until its valid-through date or 30 days after creation; it is not re-checked.

jobdatafeeds.com
Data sources
Per its portals page (September 2026): aggregators, job boards, public employment offices and ATS (about 17%); LinkedIn is its largest single source.
Coverage
Says 12M active jobs a month, where active means before a valid-through date or within 30 days of creation, duplicates included and flagged; 451M+ since 2020.
Freshness
Daily files finalized about 48 hours after each day; the API covers the last 3 months.
History
Since 2020, sold per country as a one-time purchase.
Free option
1,000 API postings a month; a free Luxembourg dataset.
Pricing
API about $1 per 1,000 (Pro $29 for 30K); country feeds $9–$649/month (US $400); history $49–$5,999 per country.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
≈ $1.00 (API) · ≈ $0.19–0.27 (US feed)
Delivery
JSON API (10 postings per request), daily S3 files, AWS Data Exchange.

#8

Bright Data

Job-board datasets and scrapers

Best for: Teams that need raw LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor job data with board-specific fields, bought as a dataset or scraped on demand.

Why #8: Raw job-board data at low cost, but no cross-board deduplication and no documented expiry.

Watch out for: Datasets come per board, so merging boards, removing duplicates and dropping closed jobs is on you.

brightdata.com
Data sources
Scraped job boards; its AWS Marketplace listing names Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Monster and Dice.
Coverage
Its AWS Marketplace listing: about 10M job postings worldwide, 1–1.5M of them US, in a monthly feed.
Freshness
Monthly for the AWS Marketplace feed; scrapers run on demand.
History
3 months, per its AWS Marketplace listing.
Free option
A 1,000-row sample on AWS Marketplace.
Pricing
Per Bright Data's site (unconfirmed): datasets $250 per 100,000 records; Scraper API $1.50 per 1,000 pay as you go.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
≈ $2.50 (dataset) · ≈ $1.50 (scraper), unconfirmed
Delivery
Datasets to cloud storage and AWS Data Exchange; scraper APIs.

#9

JSearch (OpenWeb Ninja)

Live job search over Google for Jobs

Best for: Agents and prototypes that need a cheap live query across every major job board, including job-board-only roles, in any country.

Why #9: The cheapest per search result, but results are not a dataset: no history, no bulk sync and about 500 results per query.

Watch out for: About 500 results per query, no incremental sync, and results include aggregator and agency reposts.

openwebninja.com/api/jsearch
Data sources
Google for Jobs, which surfaces LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter and others; the provider says LinkedIn is “probably 10's of %” of results.
Coverage

Freshness
Live search; posting dates at day level.
History
None.
Free option
200 requests a month.
Pricing
Pro $25 for 10,000 requests; Mega $150 for 200,000; pay as you go $0.005 per request; up to 10 results per request.
≈ Per 1,000 jobs
≈ $0.075–1.00 per 1,000 results
Delivery
REST API, RapidAPI, MCP server.

#10

Adzuna API

Job search engine API

Best for: Researchers and publishers who want UK and European listings and salary series, with attribution back to Adzuna.

Why #10: Strong UK and EU coverage and salary series, but commercial use is licence-only and descriptions are snippets.

Watch out for: Descriptions are snippets, apply links redirect through Adzuna, attribution is required, and its terms bar contacting content providers.

developer.adzuna.com
Data sources
Adzuna's job search index, including job boards; 19 country endpoints (Adzuna says 20 countries).
Coverage
Not stated on its developer site.
Freshness
Not stated.

  • Lightcast

How We Ranked

Six criteria behind the ranking.

[ 01 ]

Where the jobs come from

Employer-sourced data links each job to the employer's own posting. Job-board data adds listings that never reach a career page, along with reposts, agency listings and jobs left up after they are filled. Know which one you are buying.

[ 02 ]

Freshness and expiry

Ask how fast a new posting appears and how fast a closed one disappears. Stale jobs are the most common complaint about job feeds.

[ 03 ]

Coverage

Count employers and countries, not just records. Totals across many years of history are not the same as live jobs today.

[ 04 ]

History

Trend analysis and model training need expired postings. Check the start year and whether you get records or only aggregates.

[ 05 ]

Pricing model

Per job, per request, per credit or annual contract. Work out the cost of your real monthly volume, not the entry tier.

[ 06 ]

Licence and delivery

Check whether commercial use and resale are allowed, and whether you need an API, webhooks, files in your warehouse, or all three.

Method

We weighted sourcing, freshness and price per job at volume most, because they decide data quality and cost for most buyers.

We read each vendor's own pricing, product and documentation pages on October 21, 2026. We did not use other comparison articles as a source. Where a vendor's pages disagree with each other, we used the figure on its pricing or product page and noted the conflict.

Prices are list prices for self-serve plans in the vendor's currency, before annual discounts. Coverage numbers are the vendor's own claims; we have not audited them.
