Job Description
Adventist Health is seeking a Certified Coder to join their team in Roseville, CA. This role involves reviewing acute hospital ED, medical oncology, and adult outpatient rehab patient records to ensure accurate and timely billing and reimbursement. The position involves working in both a virtual and in-person setting, maintaining credential requirements, and collaborating with other team members.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Three years’ outpatient emergency department (ED), medical oncology, adult outpatient rehab and cardiac rehab coding experience
- AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or AHIMA RHIT/RHIA (Registered Health Information Technologist) or (Registered Health Information Administrator)
