Job Description
Adventist Health Roseville is seeking a certified Cardiac/IVR coding specialist to serve as a subject matter expert in hospital and professional coding. The role involves performing coding for cardiac/IVR procedures, reviewing medical necessity edits, managing billing and coding errors, and analyzing medical records. This is a routine position requiring compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Two years' experience if certified interventional radiology cardiovascular coder (CIRCC); otherwise, ten years' experience
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Experience in cardiac and IVR coding
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- CIRCC-AAPC
- Relevant medical and religious exemptions
