We are seeking a Technician I, Quality Assurance to ensure our products meet customer and regulatory requirements. This is a 2nd shift role, working 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage required.
Requirements
- Food service or quality control experience a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
- Ability to compare and contrast products with meat, fish and shellfish ingredients for aroma, color and flavor with other products and control samples
- Ability to take direction from more senior QA technicians
- Available for weekend and holiday rotation
- Ability to work alone for extended periods
- Possess a strong sense of personal responsibility and teamwork mindset
- Ability to enforce and follow food safety, safety and general Good Manufacturing Practices as defined by company policies
- Able to handle multiple projects and daily activities within timelines and with urgency
