As a Cost Train Engineer, you will take on a new challenge and leverage your expertise in cost management and engineering in a cutting-edge field. You will work with a collaborative, dynamic, and results-oriented team, and play a key role in coordinating Design to Cost initiatives to transform opportunities into validated savings and contribute to Alstom's project efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in the transportation or heavy equipment industry.
- Knowledge of purchasing and/or procurement (an asset).
- Experience in project management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Mastery of English (French an asset).
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and with technical leadership.
- Cost analysis skills, KPI management, and effective communication.
