This role involves autonomous engineering tasks within related areas like mechanical, process, or piping. The Senior Process Engineer will supervise teams, provide leadership, and oversee work completed by lower-level employees before submission for approval. They are responsible for ensuring quality control and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) or equivalent
- Working knowledge of international standards (ASTM, NACE, ISO, DNV)
- Accredited/eligible for accreditation as a Chartered/Professional Engineer
- Previous experience in nickel, cobalt, zinc, or copper process plants is ideal
- Solvent extraction and pressure oxidation processes are essential
- At least 7-10 years’ technical experience, preferably in an industrial environment
- 3 years’ experience in maintenance or operations troubleshooting
- Experience with shutdowns or greenfield/brownfield projects
- Personal behavioral characteristics conducive to leading multidisciplinary teams
