Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and reviewing engineering drawings, managing change processes, and supporting product development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Mechanical design engineering and Electro-Mechanical system integration
• Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics, pneumatic systems, and circuits
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, including fasteners, welding, and material selection
• Strong knowledge of BOM development and ECO processes
• Proficiency in CAD software, (with experience in Solid Edge), and adherence to CAD file management standards
• Experience working with PLM software
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor experience is an added advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and cross-functional team interaction
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
