The Mechanical Design Engineer will design precision mechanical systems, create drawings, and communicate with global teams. Experience with CAD software, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up is required. AMETEK is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions.
Requirements
- Experience designing precision mechanical systems
- Strong background in drawing creation and CAD software
- Knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up, and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Advanced skills in 3D CAD modeling, assemblies, and technical drawings
- Ability to perform hand calculations and tolerance stack-ups
- Knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and additive manufacturing
- Experience with FEA and ANSYS/Solidworks Simulation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work effectively with Global Team
