Motor Design Engineer

Responsible for developing new platform and derivative magnetic designs for slotted and slotless BLDC, stepper, and brush-type fractional and sub-fractional rotary and linear motors. Lead technical teams in the creation of documentation, testing, and production release.

Requirements

• Design and model magnetic components using SolidWorks 3D and ANSYS or similar FEA software.
• Collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, sales, and internal departments both on-site and remotely.
• Apply knowledge of motor drives, motor testing, and manufacturing methods.
• Manage multiple projects within the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase gate process.
• Execute design procedures including material selection, technology application, and ensuring project requirements are met on time and within budget.
• Make quick and effective decisions in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Communicate clearly and organize tasks efficiently across cross-functional teams.
