Job Description
Amplitude is seeking a Commercial Counsel to support its global go-to-market team and structure and negotiate various inbound vendor agreements. The role requires excellent business judgment, experience in commercial contract negotiation, and a strong ability to communicate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a JD, active bar membership, and 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience handling commercial contract negotiation
- JD and active membership in at least one state bar
- Proven drafting and negotiation skills
- Solutions-oriented
- Self-starter who can handle a fast-paced and informal start-up environment
- Collaborative team player with no ego combined with ability to work independently
- Great communicator who can talk and write like a human, not a lawyer
