Job Description
Apple is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to join their dedicated team, contributing to the quality of chip design for an IP. The role involves reviewing design and architecture specifications, creating test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will focus on a specific IP (Neural Engine, DRAM, or Encode/Decode), testing and defining verification methodology, and communicating with design, architecture, and software teams. The position offers opportunities for specialized focus and expanding breadth.
Requirements
- BS + 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Skilled in digital verification methodologies (constrained random verification, functional coverage, code coverage, assertion methodology)
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog, digital simulation, and debugging
- Knowledge of computer architecture and digital design fundamentals
- SW programming skills with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of verification methodologies (UVM)
