The RVP Sales will implement sales objectives, develop sales techniques, and meet targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
Requirements
- MBA or an advanced degree in a sales-appropriate field
- 10 years progressive experience in a sales-related field
- Strong formal and informal leadership skills
- Clear and solid understanding of the issues faced by the organization and the sales industry
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with key external stakeholders
- Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, and policies
- Demonstrated experience coordinating strategic and engagement-planning initiatives
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to Drive / coach the Regional Leaders to use the ‘insights’ from the funnel & forecast ‘tools’ to improve forecast accuracy and win rate and key trends
- Ability to deal with facts and data with respect to results and does proper level of root cause analysis to drive a thoughtful corrective action plan when the results are trending in the wrong direction
