Job Description
This role within the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab at the Miami VA Healthcare System requires a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide evidence-based nursing care to Veterans undergoing cardiac procedures. The RN will support a wide range of procedures, including interventions, pre/post-procedure care, and patient education. They will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supporting quality improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory
- 3+ years of recent experience in Cath Lab, EP Lab, ICU, or similar acute care setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Comfortable working in high-acuity, fast-paced procedures
