Job Description
Aptive is seeking a Registered Nurse Risk Manager to support the health services for detained individuals in the United States, under the oversight of the Department of Homeland Security. The company focuses on providing medical care in a correctional environment to maintain the health and safety of the individuals in custody, emphasizing ethical and responsible practices. The role involves risk management, policy development, incident reporting, and data collection to ensure high quality of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum five years of professional experience as a licensed registered nurse/in health administration
- Certification in Healthcare Quality or Risk Management or ability to obtain within one year of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of HIPAA/Privacy Act regulations
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, maintain balance, and work in a stressful environment
- Walk unaided for up to 10 minutes
