Housing Specialist

The Housing Specialist is responsible for implementing and delivering Shelter Diversion and Rapid Rehousing services to youth and young adults experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and minimum of 2 years of experience providing case management, housing assistance, or youth services.
• Knowledge of HUD homelessness definitions, Rapid Rehousing and Diversion models, and Coordinated Entry Systems.
• Familiarity with Arizona Landlord–Tenant laws, housing inspection standards, and Fair Market Rent guidelines.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regionally.
• AZ Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card and background check, including Central Registry.
• Automobile Insurance with liability levels 100/300/100
• Cellular Phone
