Job Description
Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Director, Government Pricing to lead the development, execution, and oversight of government pricing-related operations across the U.S. business. This strategic role involves supporting Finance, Market Access, Legal, and Commercial teams, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maximizing revenue. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of U.S. government pricing programs and a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical reimbursement landscape.
Requirements
- Lead the end-to-end government pricing reporting and operations
- Oversee the management of GP models for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Provide government pricing impact assessments to support GTN modeling
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, Trade, Global Finance, and Legal teams
- Advise on new legislation (e.g., Inflation Reduction Act)
- Manage reviews and approvals of accruals, reconciliations, and reporting packages
