Job Description
Astera Labs is seeking a Principal Field Applications Engineer to work with cloud service providers, server hardware designers, and networking OEMs. The role involves understanding customer needs, designing solutions using Astera Labs' connectivity products, and providing hands-on design support. The ideal candidate will drive innovation and contribute to the product roadmap.
Requirements
- BS in electrical engineering.
- Master’s degree in engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Cloud service providers and server OEM customers.
- Hands-on, thorough knowledge of high-speed & low speed protocols.
- Strong working knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, CXL, DDR, NVME, I2C, SPI, UART etc.
