Job Description
Aviso is seeking a Director, Product Design to join their Client Experience team. The Director will lead and manage a team of Product Designers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and success. The role involves shaping the future of investing for Canadians by delivering best-in-class wealth platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 7-10 years working on technology-powered products as either a Director of UX, Product Designer, User Researcher
- User experience evangelist with understanding of what it means for an organization to adopt a design-led philosophy
- Demonstrable understanding of modern product discovery and product delivery
- Technical comprehension and ability to collaborate with technology and product teams
- Business knowledge with ability to learn multiple functional areas of business
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to devise solutions to difficult problems
- Software and tools: Digital savviness and comfort with software including Design software, MS Office, Agile tools, and digital analytics platforms
- Communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate product vision and strategy to diverse stakeholders
