The Total Rewards Manager will support the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the B2Gold Corp. total rewards program, including cash and equity compensation, employee benefits, and recognition program. The role will play a key part in ensuring B2Gold attracts, motivates, and retains top talent through market-competitive and equitable total rewards practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or a related technical field from an accredited university or college
- Certification in compensation design and management practices
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a similar total rewards or compensation role in a publicly listed company, preferably in the mining industry
- Working experience with global or multi-jurisdictional total rewards programs, preferably in the mining, oil and gas, or natural resources industry
- Demonstrated experience in employee total rewards, executive compensation, equity compensation and MIC and related financial and governance reporting, and other regulatory disclosures
- Working knowledge of Shareworks
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively across multiple jurisdictions and culturally diverse teams
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
