Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Superintendent to provide technical direction to the direct hire work force and supervision on the Thacker Pass lithium mine and processing facilities project. The selected applicant shall have experience with construction in all areas of concrete and steel structures and provide technical oversight of all steel activities on the project.
Requirements
- Must have experience with construction in all areas of concrete and steel structures.
- Coordinate with supervision the work schedule and any material deliveries required.
- Complete training requirements assigned.
- Prepare field change documentation and as-built documentation as required.
- Interface with engineering office to resolve design and constructability issue.
- Assist superintendents and subcontractors in constructability and quality issues.
- Work with the suppliers to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
- Prepare material requisitions, coordinate and review vendor drawings.
- Work with Procurement's expediting team to ensure the delivery of vendor materials to support the projects schedule.
- Interpret design drawings.
- Complete Concrete material take-offs.
