The company is looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Manager to lead and grow one of the Platform engineering teams focused on Infrastructure at Make.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of infrastructure/DevOps engineering experience
- At least 2 years in a lead role
- Working knowledge of at least one cloud provider
- Experience with operating a large scale of infrastructure following the Infrastructure as Code principle, and adopting automation
- Knowledgeable with containerization platforms such as Kubernetes
- Demonstrated experience in the Incident management culture establishment
- Leveraging AI and advanced automation (Make) to remove tedious, repetitive engineering tasks
- Review & optimize any inefficiencies in the infrastructure
- Responsibility for the spending associated with Cloud technologies & apply various savings options
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives
- Implementing security practices to be compliant with ISO27k, and SOC2 type II
- Defining & evolving core metrics to bring a holistic view of the state of the infrastructure
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with managers, back-end developers, and other relevant staff members
