Job Description
BETA Technologies is revolutionizing electric aviation with a mission to apply curiosity, passion, and sustainability. The Composites Design Engineer will be responsible for designing airframe structural primary and secondary composite parts, including flat patterns and tooling support. This role is within the Tooling/Manufacturing support team and involves adhering to industry standards and collaborating with suppliers to finalize production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of composites design experience (preferably in aerospace)
- Expertise in self-stiffened skins, frame construction, and sandwich skin/frame design
- Mastery of 3D CAD software (3DExperience or CATIA/ENOVIA preferred)
- Broad experience in composites, hybrid composites/metallic structures, and associated testing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
