Certified Medication Assistant

Work under the supervision of Charge Nurse to dispense medication in a safe and timely manner to Bethany Home residents.

Requirements

• Have knowledge of, and pass medications as ordered by physician.
• Administer ordered snacks.
• Take vital signs as ordered.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked medication cart.
• Document medication administration according to Bethany Home policy.
• Understand and maintain confidentiality.
• Observe and report any change in resident’s condition to Charge Nurse.
