Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Platform Engineering DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate critical platform services that power their applications and customer experiences. This role involves managing and optimizing CDN, Cloud Edge functions, DNS, WAF, and IIS applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security in the cloud-native and edge-optimized environment. The engineer will collaborate with developers, security engineers, and infrastructure teams to align platform capabilities with organizational goals, supporting the transition from on-premise to modern cloud-native platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- AWS Cloud practitioner or higher
- Experience with AWS services (CloudFront, Lambda@Edge, Route 53, WAF, EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Git/GitOps workflows
- Kubernetes
- Configuration management (Ansible)
- IIS application management
- Scripting (JavaScript/NodeJS)
- Strong understanding of platform reliability, networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of observability pillars (logs, metrics, tracing)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
