Mechanical Engineer - Pipe Stress

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Pipe Stress for their Mechanical Piping Team. This role involves performing piping stress analysis to ensure conformance to ASME B31 Pressure Piping Codes and related standards. The successful candidate will also mentor junior engineers and expand their knowledge in other areas of the company.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pipe stress analysis and piping design.
• Technical depth in ASME B31.1 and B31.3 pressure piping codes.
• Working knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Sections I, II, III, and VIII.
• Working knowledge of AutoPIPE and Caesar II stress analysis software.
• Intermediate knowledge of other design standards and specifications.
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
