Mechanical Engineer - Pipe Stress

Black & Veatch is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Pipe Stress to join their Mechanical Engineering Department. This role involves performing stress analysis and verification of piping design, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. The engineer will work closely with various disciplines, leading design execution efforts and mentoring junior engineers, and will also serve as a technical specialist providing input on various engineering problems and methods with minimal supervision. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience relevant to pipe stress analysis and piping design.
• Technical depth in ASME B31.1 ASME B31.3 Pressure Piping Codes.
• Working knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Sections I, II, III, and VIII.
• Working knowledge of AutoPIPE and Caesar II stress analysis software.
• Intermediate knowledge of other design standards and specifications.
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content.
