Network Technician I

We are seeking a Network Technician I to install, test, and certify structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment. The candidate will need to be qualified in installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment. Responsibilities include patching cabling between network equipment and customer's network, installation of power cables, and installation, troubleshooting and de-installing network equipment.

Requirements

• Qualified in installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment
• Experience in working in a structured cabling environment
• Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects
• Must be willing to work shift work which includes nights and weekends
