Network Technician I

Black Box Network Services is seeking a Network Infrastructure Technician with a proven track record in installing, testing, and certifying structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment. The candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and certifying structured and patch panel cabling, as well as troubleshooting network equipment and cabling. The position requires a high level of motivation and self-drive for success.

Requirements

• Qualified in installing, testing, and certifying structured and patch panel cabling
• Proven track record in working in a structured cabling environment
• Experience in installing single and multi-mode optical cabling
• Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects
• Proven success troubleshooting layer 1 network concerns
