Job Description
The Preconstruction Manager will lead preconstruction services of assigned estimates, preparing estimates, forming bids, and assembling proposals for commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include conceptual estimating, budget preparation, subcontractor negotiation, project knowledge, and stakeholder management. The role involves a thorough understanding of the project scope, competitive bidding strategies, and client communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, architectural, or construction)
- 3-5 years of estimating and bidding experience
- 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial construction (commercial and multi-family residential projects a plus)
- Proven ability to lead estimates and bids of commercial construction projects up to $25 million
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of PlanSwift, iSqft, Bluebeam (preferred)
- US work authorization
