Sheriff Deputy

The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is seeking Sworn Deputies who have completed BLET to fill various division positions, including Patrol Road Squads, DWI Task Force, Animal Control, School Resource Officers, Court Enforcement, and Special Units.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of NC BLET Course
• Certification as a law enforcement officer
• Valid driver’s license issued by the State of North Carolina
