Provides information and education on Medicare and Medi-Cal managed care programs to qualified beneficiaries, community-based organizations, and the general public by cultivating and sustaining positive working relationships with community organizations serving Medi-Cal beneficiaries.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Resident Insurance Producer Accident and Health Agent License
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field (preferred)
- 1-year successful community outreach experience (preferably related to healthcare and/or Medi-Cal managed care plans)
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal managed care plan benefits and eligibility requirements
- Community Health Group programs and services
- Familiarity with community social service organizations and groups
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Bilingual ability in English/Spanish
