Manager, Data Engineering

We are looking for a Manager, Data Engineering to manage data engineering activities in support of all corporate information systems across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Advanced working knowledge of multiple data integration and engineering tools
• Strong working knowledge of Source Control applications
• Strong working knowledge of principles and techniques of the application development lifecycle process
• Strong working knowledge of logical and physical database design concepts
• Strong working knowledge of business Intelligence applications
• Proven ability to facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and technical walkthroughs
• Proven ability to institute and drive development quality and governance
• Discreet and able to work in a confidential executive environment
• Ability to work with architects and technical leads directly
• Strong business acumen and ability to facilitate design sessions
• Intuitive and able to perceive others' feelings and motives quickly
• Decisive and able to make a prompt determination and substantiate decision if challenged
• Inquisitive information seeker and able to ask probing questions
• Organized state of mind and able to document activities and anticipate problems
• Supportive mentor and able to guide and develop team members
