The Assistant Superintendent will support the Superintendent and General Superintendent with on-site daily management of construction activities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves administering project safety programs, interpreting project documents, managing subcontractors and self-perform operations, and participating in quality inspections and business development.
Requirements
- Help administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provides technical assistance on the project and interprets contract drawings and submittals.
- Manage select self-perform operations and subcontractor operations including safety, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Understand project schedule and the critical path.
- Participate in the quality program including attending meetings and performing inspections.
- Interface with client representatives, A-E representatives, and other contractors.
- Develop skills to become a Superintendent and manage all aspects of a construction project.
- Strong communication skills.
