Job Description
Contentful is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing remote-first web development team based in Europe. The role focuses on enhancing management capabilities for the platform, enabling enterprise organizations to manage their content, and driving scalable, high-performance solutions. The manager will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical goals and business objectives, as well as scale the CMS & Editorial Experience.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience leading development teams
- Proficiency in web technologies (TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js)
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentful is preferred)
- Experience optimizing performance and scalability
- Strong mentoring track record
- Experience with API-first platforms and data optimization
