Quoting Engineer

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Quoting Engineer to support precision gear manufacturing projects. The role involves creating accurate sales estimations using customer-supplied prints and specifications, liaising with vendors, customers, and internal teams, and managing relationships. The Estimator will contribute to pricing, quoting, and supplier/customer communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in precision-machined component manufacturing
• Knowledge of machining operations (heat treat, turning, milling, drilling, grinding, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with inspection and measurement techniques
• Working knowledge of materials, material characteristics, and thermal treatment of steel
• Gear experience/knowledge a plus but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills
