Quoting Engineer

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Estimator to support precision gear manufacturing projects, responsible for creating accurate sales estimations using customer data. The role involves analyzing customer quotes, establishing pricing, negotiating, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This position contributes to pricing, quoting, and supplier/customer interaction.

Requirements

• Prepare production quotes for blanks, grinding, milling, drilling, hobbing, shaper cutting, and gear grinding.
• Analyze customer quote requests (usage, batch size, etc.).
• Establish target pricing levels and assist with negotiations.
• Create process routings for internal and external operations.
• Apply time study methods to estimate cycle times.
• Manage vendor relationships and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations.
