Quoting Engineer

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is looking for an Estimator to support precision gear manufacturing projects. The role involves creating accurate sales estimations, liaising with vendors and customers, and managing supplier/customer relationships. The Estimator will be a key liaison in a culture-focused work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in precision-machined component manufacturing
• Knowledge of machining operations (heat treat, turning, milling, drilling, grinding, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with inspection and measurement techniques
• Working knowledge of materials, material characteristics, and thermal treatment of steel
• Gear experience/knowledge a plus but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for database creation and management
• Ability to efficiently communicate technical information and collaborate across teams
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills
