Covenant Home Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to patients in their HomeCare and Hospice program. The role involves performing various nursing duties, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time position with on-call responsibilities in a supportive network.

Requirements

• Perform and record cardiovascular assessments, pulmonary assessments, neurological assessments, GI assessments, skin assessments, intake and output assessments, and pain assessments.
• Performs treatment procedures including insertion of nasogastric/gastrostomy tube, replacement of gastrostomy tube, and medication administration.
• Performs intravenous procedures, including insertion of peripheral IV line and calculations of IV infusion rates.
• Administers medications per HomeCare policy and documents accurately.
• Provides colostomy care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning.
• Follows hospital policies and safety standards.
• Performs infection control techniques.
• Checks schedule and dials patients.
