Head of Engineering

Cozycozy is a travel-tech startup that needs a Head of Engineering to lead their technical strategy, develop a strong tech culture, and oversee technical projects. The role is based in Paris and involves leading the software engineering team, developing and managing the technical roadmap, and overseeing software development and system architecture.

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• Experience in overseeing technical teams or individuals as a team lead or manager
• Fluency in English (written & spoken). French is a strong plus
• Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment
• Strong foundational knowledge of backend and frontend technologies
• Experience with databases and knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools
• Experience in AI and familiarity with machine learning technologies
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Comfortable managing stakeholders and building strong cross-team relationships
