Job Description
ECS is seeking a Facilities Specialist to ensure the physical environment of their facilities supports high-quality children's services. This role involves maintaining buildings, performing repairs, ensuring safety, and overseeing preventative maintenance. ECS values building a strong foundation for educational success for children and families.
Requirements
- Perform maintenance and repair activities through Head Start/Early Head Start centers.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure ECS centers and playgrounds operate efficiently.
- Monitor building safety systems and provide recommendations.
- Perform special projects such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Obtain supplies and repair parts.
- Use hand and power tools.
- Perform other tasks as required by immediate supervisor.
