Principal Scientist, Computational Biology

Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company utilizing computational biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. They seek a Principal Scientist to drive early drug discovery efforts, analyzing complex experiments and collaborating with scientists to advance research programs. This role emphasizes analytical skills, robust data interpretation, and mentorship.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in a computationally-aligned field plus 10 years’ relevant industry experience
• 5+ years’ experience in drug discovery
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong practical expertise in high throughput experiments and statistical techniques
• Expertise using programming languages (e.g. R, Python)
• Substantial problem-solving skills and creativity
• Experience performing in-depth analysis of experiments and biobanks
