As a Retail Account Manager at Elanco, you will drive retail sales through the register at customers, manage investments, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the retail landscape, anticipate customer needs, and ensure their satisfaction, ultimately driving revenue growth for Elanco.
Requirements
- Own account planning and growth: expand assortment, manage trade and financials, deliver strategic presentations, and inform decisions aligned to the plan.
- Lead internal/external meeting cadence: align on initiatives, track action items for both parties, and drive timely follow-through.
- Coordinate end-to-end operations: partner with supply/warehouse, customer service, retail ops, and accounting to prevent/resolve issues impacting the customer and Elanco sales.
- Manage financials and analytics: forecast accurately, process invoices/rebates, optimize trade spend for ROI/net sales, and analyze programs/KPIs (with Finance/Omnium) to improve performance.
- Build strategic relationships and enablement: act as a trusted advisor, facilitate education and business reviews, and collaborate with Category Management and Shopper Marketing to identify opportunities and close performance gaps.
