Job Description
Elderwood of Uihlein is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to residents and their families. The role involves assisting with rehabilitation and maintenance of function, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring a supportive work environment. Requirements
- Initiates skilled occupational therapy treatments in accordance with physician’s orders.
- Maintains written evaluations, progress notes, MDS records, and discharge summaries.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.
- Submits requisition for supplies, and assists with in-service training.
- Maintains statistical records of treatments.
- Ensures safety in a senior assisted care environment.
- Comfortable with geriatric and subacute populations.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
