Requirements

• Associate’s degree in social work, child development, community health, or related field required
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in social work, child development, community health, or related field
• Preferred: A minimum of two years' work experience in health, social or community services
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Local travel required, valid Illinois driver’s license and automobile insurance also required
• Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish)
• Cultural competency to work in a low income, minority environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust from clients
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, clients, and community partners
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Record keeping methods, practices, and procedures
