Requirements
- Associate’s degree in social work, child development, community health, or related field required
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in social work, child development, community health, or related field
- Preferred: A minimum of two years' work experience in health, social or community services
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Local travel required, valid Illinois driver’s license and automobile insurance also required
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish)
- Cultural competency to work in a low income, minority environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust from clients
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, clients, and community partners
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Record keeping methods, practices, and procedures
