Associate, Group Investments

ESR is seeking a driven and analytical Associate to join their Group Investment Team. The role involves independently evaluating real estate investment opportunities, conducting financial modelling, and preparing investment papers to support strategic decision-making. The candidate will work with key stakeholders on mergers and acquisitions opportunities and the in-country investment teams.

Requirements

• Independently assess potential real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes and geographies.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze deal-level economics, sensitivity scenarios, and return metrics.
• Draft clear and compelling investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees and senior leadership.
• Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to inform underwriting assumptions and investment strategy.
• Liaise with brokers, partners, legal counsel, and other external advisors to facilitate deal execution.
• Provide on-demand analytical support to senior management.
• Review potential investment opportunities proposed by the broader business and work with Group Strategy & Investments team on Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities.
