Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable High School Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically about history, culture, and civic life while helping them develop strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in History, Social Studies Education, or a related field
- Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in Social Studies (Grades 9–12)
- Deep understanding of U.S. and World History content, primary source analysis, and historical thinking skills
- Familiarity with New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and educational technology
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
